Our founder, Jerry McTaggert, was placed into an orphanage as a child due to an illness that had taken his mother. She was an amazing woman who loved her children and devoted her life to them. Our home was created to honor her life as a mother, her heart for the most needy and her love for our Lord Jesus Christ and therefore bears her name, Catherine.
